1. The IRS is changinging the auto mileage rate effective July 1, 2011 ( Announcement # 2011-40) . The business rate will change from 51 cents to 55.5 cents and the Medical/Moving rate will change from 19 cents to 23.5 cents per mile.
2. We have booked the annual tax talk brunch for Jan. 14, 2012. Hope to see you there, all are welcome, call to reserve your spot anytime before 01/04/12.
3. The 1099 mandate was repealed on April 14, 2011 under bill number H.R. 4. Therefore, we are back to the old rules.
As a reminder if you pay anyone for any type of service $600.00 or more in a calendar year, you may be required to issue a 1099.
